Welcome back. Thus far we have begun to examine some of the crucial pieces of your site that must be set up on your online store before you can begin to invest in traffic driving activities to grow revenue.  Today we will get into the “meat and potatoes” of this process and discuss Facebook pixels and how to add them to your campaign. Here is a quick overview of some of the topics we have covered thus far for anyone that is new:
Where We Are In The World of Ecommerce
Building Your eCommerce Branding and Story

So let’s start with what is a Facebook pixel and how is this little guy going to drive your business forward.  In reality, this single feature could become a major piece of your largest source of traffic through your digital marketing strategy.   The 4 major functions it serves:

    • Conversion Tracking:  This will allow you to easily track the success of your Facebook marketing campaign and seeing what was driven as a direct result.shopify sales
    • Optimization:  The pixel will allow you to automatically bid on conversion once set up.
    • Remarketing:  Easily remarket to those who visit your site or take specific rule based actions
    • Lookalike Creation: Through the insight gleaned with your campaigns utilizing the Facebook pixel, you will be able to remarket towards audiences deemed to be most responsive through previous campaigns using the pixel.

The good news for many of you reading this is that on Shopify the process of adding a pixel is as simple as turning it on within the Shopify admin.  You can follow through step by step below with your Shopify panel open next to you.  For all other platforms, our team certainly would be more than eager to help you setup your Facebook Pixel.
