Trellis Awarded Best Small Business Blog & Expert Awards

Trellis was humbled to be awarded two great distinctions from Fit Small Business who recognized our ongoing dedication to helping small-to-medium businesses and never forgetting our roots.   At Trellis, we make a concerted effort every year to assure we develop a healthy client portfolio mix of both “name brand” clients and those clients whose budgets may not be quite as large but whose hearts and passion certainly make up for their size.  This focus, helps maintain an exciting working environment for the Trellis team everyday as we help our clients find solutions to their everyday issues and realize their biggest visions.  In recognition of this, Fit Small Business awarded us two designations this year:
We were named a ” 2016 Small Business Expert”
The irony in this accolade is that we ourselves are a small business.  This gives us a unique insight into the challenges that come with scaling a successful business from it’s infancy through the most difficult life stage of hyper growth.  We have seen time and time again the struggle clients face deciding when to pull the trigger and start adopting the practices (and tech stack as it relates to Trellis) of a growing enterprise business.  The advantage Trellis clients enjoy is we have had to face these questions ourselves (many times over!). Therefore, we can truly speak from experience well beyond the area of purview that they are engaging our team.  We have found this creates a true sense of partnership and the ability for us to grow alongside many of our clients.  I even spoke about one of the best business ideas we have heard lately in one of Fit Small Business’s latest articles: Best Online Business Ideas: 39 Favorites from the Pros

Our blog was named one a “2016 Best Small Business Blog”
In 2016, we made a concerted effort to produce more educational content than ever before so that individuals could gain value from our experiences and expertise even if they were not yet a client (or might ever be).  Trellis has always had a philosophy that if we add value to conversations then the rest will fall into place eventually.  With this in mind, our blog has served as a great medium to share our thoughts and experiences. Apparently, this focus has been helpful to businesses and individuals given this recognition.  In 2017, we already have larger plans for our blog to contribute to the community including a special focus on our bread and butter, ecommerce.  Stay tuned!
