Project Brief

Barefoot Books is a well established small business children’s books publisher and content creation company. Barefoot Books had a complicated Magento 1 and legacy CMS combination of technologies to power their B2C and B2B business lines. They had complex B2B needs and needed an agency that could help them simplify and improve that experience along with many other complexities. Barefoot Books also had an in house team that could do some of the work so they needed an agency that could guide them and utilize their internal team but also take on the heavy lifting of work they could not do.

The Solution

Trellis worked with Barefoot Books to architect a new Magento 2 website that would handle all their content and complex eCommerce needs. They worked hand in hand with their design team and internal engineer to migrate all their complex reporting and build a brand new design on Magento 2. Barefoot Books now hosts their site with Trellis on AWS via Trellis managed AWS services and continues to work with Trellis to improve their Magento site on a daily basis.
